Our remote learning program has started and we are pleased that we have received positive feedback from the parent representatives of all three school forms.
Please bear in mind that this is a learning opportunity for all of us, if you have any comments or questions about your child’s remote learning program, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
As of Wednesday, 18 March, our school buildings will be closed. All of our teachers and staff will be working from home.
We can only offer emergency care for school children in grades 1 to 6 for “personnel of critical infrastructures”, as defined by the state of NRW.

Our Admissions Office is still available Monday through Friday from 10:00am-4:00pm to answer any inquiries and discuss enrollment at Cologne International School:

The NRW Ministry of Education is currently working on the organization of Abitur exams, in the case schools can not reopen by 20 April. We will communicate any new developments with you as soon as possible.
We are in close contact with the International Baccalaureate Organization, which provides the IB Diploma, and Cambridge International, which is responsible for operating the IGCSE exams, in order to be able to implement appropriate adjustments to the exam procedures as quickly as possible.
Camps & Off-Campus Activities
Due to the regulations of the state government, we are need to cancel the spring holiday camps.
Unfortunately, all activities scheduled to take place off-campus through the end of the 2019/20 school year must also be cancelled, this includes field trips, swimming lessons and overnight class trips.
