We are seeking a
Part Time Teacher of English as a Foreign Language
The position is for illness cover and is initially for a period of 3 months, with the possibility of being extended.
The right candidate will be committed to providing an excellent education for our students, as well as understanding the importance of community and customer experience in a school context. They will also be lifelong learners.
Must have a German Work Visa or EU Passport holder. Immediate start is required.
Your Responsibilities
- Support and promote the school’s ethos
- Engage students in the effective delivery of the curriculum through excellent subject knowledge and diverse lesson content that reflects the ability and needs of all students in the class
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure an effective learning environment for all students
- Support students proactively in reaching their learning and approaches to learning goals
- To regularly measure, record and share student progress
- Be familiar with academic and pastoral data, and to analyse this data to individualise learning
- Keep informed about technological innovations that support and drive student outcomes
- Provide Subject Coordinators with class data
- Plan in Managebac
- Be familiar with school policies
- Be available outside of lessons to support students
Line Management
- You will report to the Subject Coordinators EAL
Your Qualifications
- A TESoL qualification or similar
- Must have a German Work Visa or EU Passport holder.
- Immediate start is required.
Working Hours / Allowance
- 25 hours per week, including 16 lessons.
