(1) Bei der Internationalen Friedensschule Köln (nachfolgend „CIS“ oder „wir” genannt), handelt es sich um eine internationale Privatschule, die als Ergänzungsschule gemäß den jeweils anwendbaren Landesschulgesetzen anerkannt ist. Schulträger ist die Internationale Friedensschule Köln GmbH, Rudi-Conin-Str. 10, 50829 Köln.
(2) Die vorliegenden Bedingungen legen den Bewerbungs- und Aufnahmeprozess an der CIS (nachfolgend „Bedingungen“ genannt) gegenüber Schülern und Schülerinnen und deren Erziehungsberechtigten (nachfolgend „Bewerber“ oder „Sie“ genannt) fest.
(1) Der Bewerbungsprozess an der CIS beginnt mit dem Ausfüllen und der Übermittlung des Inguiry Forms (Bewerbungsformular) auf unserer Internetseite (https://if-koeln.de/). Hierzu haben Sie die gekennzeichneten (*) Pflichtfelder vollständig auszufüllen und zu bestätigen, die vorliegenden Bedingungen akzeptiert, bzw. unsere Datenschutzerklärung zur Kenntnis genommen zu haben.
(2) Die Übermittlung des Inquiry Forms stellt keine verbindliche Bewerbung des Bewerbers dar, sondern liefert uns die Informationen, die wir zur Vorbereitung des weiteren Bewerbungsprozesses benötigen.
(3) Mit dem vorgenannten Kontaktformular können Sie einen Termin für ein erstes Telefonat, sowie für Ihre Campus-Tour vereinbaren. Sollte ein Besuch Ihrerseits nicht möglich sein, wird ein online-Beratungsgespräch via Google Meet, mit Ihnen und unserem Admissions Team vereinbart
(1) Nach den unter Ziffer 2 beschriebenen Kennenlernterminen können Sie den verbindlichen Aufnahmeprozess Ihres Kindes starten, in dem Sie uns alle erforderlichen Bewerbungsunterlagen und Informationen erteilen. Diese sind:
(2) Nach Erhalt der vorgenannten Unterlagen und Informationen werden wir mit Ihnen einen Termin für das Aufnahmegespräch mit der zuständigen Schulleitung vereinbaren. Dieses kann vor Ort oder online und für die Klassen 6-11 in Kombination mit einem Probetag stattfinden.
(3) Mit der Bestätigung der Einladung zum unter Ziffer 3.2. beschriebenen Termin wird eine einmalige Anmeldegebühr (ADM1) gemäß der aktuellen Gebührentabelle der CIS erhoben. Die aktuelle Gebührentabelle ist jederzeit auf der Website der CIS (https://if-koeln.de/) einsehbar und wird mit Übermittlung der Unterlagen anerkannt. Die Anmeldegebühr (ADM1) ist nach Rechnungsstellung sofort fällig. Das Aufnahmegespräch findet nur statt, wenn über die Anmeldegebühr (ADM1) auf dem Konto der CIS verfügt werden kann.
(4) Die Anmeldegebühr (ADM1) umfasst insbesondere die Leistungen für die Vorprüfung der Anmeldeunterlagen, sowie die Vorbereitung und Durchführung des Aufnahmegesprächs. Die Anmeldegebühr (ADM 1) ist nicht erstattungsfähig, es sei denn die CIS kann Ihrem Kind keinen Schulplatz zur Verfügung stellen. Bei einer Zusage seitens der CIS ist die Anmeldegebühr auf die Aufnahmegebühr gemäß der aktuellen Gebührentabelle der CIS anzurechnen.
(1) Insofern die CIS dem Bewerber eine Zusage erteilt, wird Ihnen der Entwurf des Schulvertrages zur Verfügung gestellt.
(2) Mit Abschluss des Schulvertrages wird die Aufnahmegebühr (ADM2) gemäß der aktuellen Gebührentabelle der CIS fällig.
(3) Die Aufnahmegebühr (ADM2) umfasst insbesondere die Verwaltungskosten der Aufnahme und Einrichtung Ihres Kindes in den Systemen der CIS, die Reservierung und Einrichtung des Schulplatzes, die einmaligen Infrastruktur- und Entwicklungskosten, sowie die Organisation und Durchführung des Eingliederungsprogramms für neue Schüler.
(4) Die Aufnahmegebühr ist nicht erstattungsfähig.
Für diese Bedingungen und die Vertragsbeziehung zwischen uns und Ihnen gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland unter Ausschluss internationalen Einheitsrechts, insbesondere des UN-Kaufrechts sowie unter Ausschluss von Verweisungsnormen des Internationalen Privatrechts. Dies gilt bei Verbrauchern jedoch nur soweit, als nicht der gewährte Schutz durch zwingende Bestimmungen des Rechtes des Staates, indem Sie Ihren gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt haben, entzogen wird.

(2) These terms and conditions set out the application and admissions process at CIS (hereinafter referred to as “terms”) for students and their legal guardians (hereinafter referred to as “applicants” or “you”).
(1) The application process at CIS begins with the completion and submission of the Inquiry Form on our website (https://if-koeln.de/). You are required to fully complete the marked (*) mandatory fields and confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and have taken note of our privacy policy.
(2) The submission of the Inquiry Form does not constitute a binding application by the applicant but provides us with the information necessary to prepare for the next steps of the application process.
(3) Using the above-mentioned contact form, you can schedule an initial phone call and a campus tour. If a visit is not possible for you, an online consultation via Google Meet will be arranged with you and our Admissions Officer.
(1) Following the introductory meetings described in Section 2, you may begin the binding admission process for your child by submitting all required application documents and information to us.

(2) After receiving the above-mentioned documents and information, we will schedule an appointment with you for an admission interview with the relevant school leadership. This can take place on site or online and for grades 6-11 in combination with a trial day.
(3) A one-off registration fee (ADM1) in accordance with the current CIS tuition fee schedule will be charged upon confirmation of the invitation to the appointment described in section 3.2. The current tuition fee schedule can be viewed at any time on the CIS website (https://if-koeln.de/) and is recognised upon submission of the documents. The application fee (ADM1) is due immediately after invoicing. The admission interview will only take place if the application fee (ADM1) can be credited to the CIS account.
(4) The registration fee (ADM1) covers, in particular, our services for the preliminary review of your application documents as well as the preparation and execution of the admission interview. The registration fee (ADM1) is non-refundable unless CIS is unable to offer your child a school place. In the case of an offer of admission from CIS, the registration fee will be credited toward the enrollment fee as listed in the current CIS tuition fee schedule.
(1) If CIS offers the applicant a place, you will be provided with a draft of the school contract.
(2) Upon signing the school contract, the admission fee (ADM2) becomes due in accordance with the current CIS tuition fee schedule.
(3) The admission fee (ADM2) covers, in particular, the administrative costs of enrolling and setting up your child in CIS’s systems, the reservation and preparation of the school place, one-time infrastructure and development costs, as well as the organization and implementation of the orientation program for new students.
(4) The admission fee is non-refundable.
These terms and the contractual relationship between you and us are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding international uniform law, in particular the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), as well as the conflict-of-law rules of private international law. However, for consumers, this only applies to the extent that the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence is not withdrawn.
