Your task:

Alongside our Marketing Coordinator, you will help manage the school’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Content Creation & Production: Proactively documenting daily school life and filming school activities to create audience-specific content, with a strong focus on producing short-form video content (Reels, Shorts) and drafting engaging captions in both English and German.
• Editorial Management: Responsibly co-managing our social media channels, including scheduling, publishing posts, and maintaining the digital editorial calendar.
• Trend Research & Analysis: Identifying current social media trends, brainstorming creative ideas, and tracking reach via KPIs to continuously optimize content performance.
• Graphic & Digital Support: Assisting in the creation of visual assets for the school website, newsletters, or internal communications.

Your Profile

• Educational Background: You are currently enrolled as a student in Marketing, Communications, Media/Cultural Studies, Journalism, Graphic Design, English/German Studies, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: You have practical knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro) and design platforms like Canva. Knowledge of WordPress or website management is a strong plus.
• Platform Expertise: You are highly competent in navigating and utilizing social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) and understand their respective algorithms.
• Interpersonal Skills: You enjoy collaboration, open communication, and interacting with students of different age groups and diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Mindset: You possess a strong passion for storytelling, content creation, and intercultural education. You are creative, proactive, reliable, and bring a hands-on mindset to the team.
• Language Proficiency: You have excellent communication skills in both German and English (minimum C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
