Social Pedagogue / Youth Worker (m/f/d)

Your Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a state-certified youth or social educator, or a degree in Social Pedagogy, Social Work, Special Needs Education, or a comparable field
  
• Very good command of either German or English at C1/C2 level; the second language should be spoken at a B1/B2 level or higher
  
• Solid knowledge of the German Social Code Book VIII (SGB VIII – Child and Youth Welfare Act)
  
• Ideally at least three years of professional experience in residential or semi-residential child and youth welfare services
  
• Independent, well-structured, and responsible approach to work
  
• Strong communication skills as well as the ability to assert ideas and inspire others
  
• Creativity in shaping everyday pedagogical work
  
• A respectful and resource-oriented attitude towards adolescents and young adults from diverse cultural backgrounds
  

Your Responsibilities:

• Educational support and supervision of adolescents in everyday boarding school life
• Serving as a key worker (reference educator) with a focus on individual development and support goals
  
• Designing, planning, and implementing leisure and support programs
  
• Active cooperation with parents and legal guardians (parent work)
  
• Development and implementation of individualized support measures
  
• Networking and collaboration with schools, public authorities, clubs, and other external partners
  
• Participation in regular supervision sessions for quality assurance and professional reflection
  
• Taking on organizational and administrative duties within the boarding school context
  
• Active participation in regular team and case meetings
  

Working Hours:

• 23 hours per week
  
• Willingness to work in shifts (evening, night, weekends, and during school holidays)
  
• Employment based on a dedicated internal pay scale
